For a couple of weeks in the summer of 2009 I arranged a workshop where I asked people to draw a portrait of me. In return i drew a portrait of them, and we exchanged pictures. I wanted to examine different people's relations to drawing, and look closer into what people see and what choices they make when they have to commit their observations to a piece of paper. 44 people participated, all with different backgrounds. The youngest was 10 years, the oldest 67.
